The Bijrani Zone of the Corbett Reserve Park is a vast, wild forest that is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. For those who love exploring and being in nature, this is the perfect place to explore and get lost in the beauty of the wilderness.
Jim Corbett National Park is one of the oldest national parks in India and is popular amongst wildlife and nature enthusiasts from all over the globe. It is the perfect environment for all sorts of wild animals to roam free.
Bijrani, which is one of the major parks in the Corbett Reserve Park, is just as adventurous as Dhikala, the most well-known park in the region. It has plenty of flora and fauna to keep you occupied.
Surrounding yourself with the stunning beauty of the raw landscape at Bijrani forest rest house, you’ll be able to experience the thrill of spotting a wild animal in its natural habitat. You’ll also have the chance to see tigers in their natural environment.
The topographic characteristics of the region are largely defined by large water drains, expansive grasslands referred to as “chaurs,” and dense Sal forests. The climate is comparatively drier than in other areas.
There are two forest guest houses in the Bijrani Zone (the Bijrani Forests) that provide accommodation for tourists. These forests include the Malani Forests guest house and the Bijrani Forests guest house.
If you want to visit either of the two Bijrani forest Rest Houses, you need to get a government permit and pass through the Aamdanda Gate. The area around Bijrani was a popular hunting ground for British colonists in India, and it was set aside as a dedicated hunting area.
The Bijrani forest reserve is now a well-protected area where it is strictly forbidden to harm or kill any of the animals. It’s a quiet and serene place with birds chirping in the background and the occasional sounds of different animals – providing you with an almost mystical ambiance.
This zone of the jungle is popular with birdwatchers for its variety of exotic birds. Here, birdwatchers have a good chance of spotting a tiger, a herd of wild elephants, sloth bears, and many other animals.
