The Royal Bengal Tiger, Wild Boar, Wild Asian Elephant, and various species of deer like Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, and Chital are just some of the animals you might see when you’re exploring the zone. Other animals that can be found in the area are Rhesus Monkeys, Black-Faced Monkeys, and Jackals.

The Durgadevi zone is famous for having more wild elephants than any of the other zones in Corbett Park. This makes it a really great place to go for a chance to see some magnificent wild elephants. It’s also a great place for birding.

The Mahseer fish is a popular species that is found in the river channels of the zone. The river water of the area provides a perfect habitat for these fish to thrive.

Durgadevi gate is the entry point to this zone. It’s 28 km from the nearest city, Ramnagar, making it the farthest zone from Ramnagar.

Lohachaur Forest house is the perfect place to stay for tourists who want to enjoy the dense raw forest. To enter the park and enjoy the jeep safari or the night stay in the forest rest house, tourists can contact the park directly.

It’s always a good idea to book your spot in advance when visiting Durgadevi Park, as there can be a huge rush of tourists, especially on weekends and holidays. The park is open for tourists from 15th October to 15th June every year but is closed during the monsoon season.
